Bryant Park is Charlotte’s newest in-town residential and business district. Bryant Park is situated 1.5 miles from Charlotte’s Uptown and serves as the Western Gateway to Charlotte Center City District. The site offers a central location, excellent visibility on Wilkinson Boulevard, easy access to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and area interstate system, and excellent downtown skyline views. Future greenway improvement along Stewart Creek will connect Historic Bryant Park to Uptown Charlotte. The City of Charlotte in collaboration with Merrifield Partners, other area developers, and local residents and businesses recently adopted The Bryant Park Land Use and Streetscape Plan. The Plan defines an exciting new vision for this district located just west of Uptown Charlotte. Merrifield Partners completed the Charlotte School of Law (CSL) facility totaling 100,000 square feet Charlotte School of Law. in August, 2008. CSL is a new, student-centered law school offering flexible part-time and full-time programs. The school currently enrolls approximately 500 students. This project is the first major redevelopment effort in the Bryant Park district and will serve as a catalyst for future development. Merrifield Partners is marketing Class-A office space in its second building totaling approximately 80,000 square feet. The building will front on Wilkinson Boulevard and will offer incredible views of Uptown Charlotte, ample free parking, excellent access, and competitive rental rates. Grading has begun on the site with delivery of the building anticipated in late 2009. |
