Gateway Whitehall, LLC has purchased a 2-acre site at Whitehall, a Crosland project developed by Merrifield Partners. The location will be the site of a new 13,000 square foot Gateway Academy Child Development Center. Gateway Academy, a leading child development program, currently has 5 existing centers in the Metro-Charlotte area all with 4-star ratings. This center is the 3rd new center under development in the Metro area bringing the total Gateway Academy locations to 8 centers. Gateway Academy Child Development Centers are part of Mini-Skool Early Learning Centers, the sixth largest child development company with locations across the US and Canada.

The new Gateway Academy at Whitehall is being developed by Gateway Properties, LLC whose principals are David Jacobs and David Burner, the original developer of the 25 center Gateway Academy chain. The newest Whitehall Center is anticipated to be completed this summer ready for the new school years enrollment. Gateway Academy Child Development Centers serve children ranging from 6 months to 12 years of age with a highly acclaimed development curriculum.
