Merrifield Partners is moving forward with Crosland's next mixed-use project in the NoDa arts district. Lofts 34, located at 34th and North Davidson, will include 13 lofts ranging from 500 to 1,100 sq. ft., and 1st floor retail space. The lofts will feature a very modern, European design including bamboo floors. Construction is expected to begin in May 2004 and will be complete by year end.

Lofts 34 is the second project in NoDa, following the recently completed Nevitt Building which featured 10 industrial style loft units with 1st floor retail. Nine of the 10 lofts are sold, as well as the entire 1st floor of commercial space. Retail tenants in the Nevitt Building include Dolce Vita, a wine and cheese bar, Neighborhood Realty, an art gallery, and a clothing store. Following Lofts 34 will be the renovation/rehabilitation of Fat City, located at 35th and North Davidson. Proposed plans for this project include residential lofts, retail and office space.
